Great place when visiting Vis.
Old school, socialist hotel that looks like some ex Yu hotels from 70's or 80'. Only Tito's photo at the entrance is missing
Rooms are decent and clean. Food is avrage, but the location, the view and convenience is unparallel on Vis.
Just keep expectations low and you won't be sorry.
Probably the best place to stay on this island.

Yes Hotel is is need of renovation, which is already in their plan, so i won't repeat the same as many. Nevertheless it is still pleasant and comfortable. When it comes to staff they are amazing, a special shout out goes to the amazing baristas Tomislav, Ivona and Samira, who made our stay even more pleasant. Generally speaking kitchen, dinning room and bar staff are extremely helpful, open and warm.
Food is abundant, always something different, we ate breakfast and dinner, never had na, problems with given options, and refills are always available. The taste itself is really good and when you don't like something you can get something else.
Despite the need of renovation, the hotel deserves 5 stars review for amazing staff and food.
We booked this place last minute because it was the only accommodation available on Vis at the time (high season). I found it too expensive for a VERY basic hotel (600kn per person per night with dinner and breakfast). The food is not fresh but OK, fish or meat every day, no vegetarian options. There's no WiFi in the rooms. Our room had a smell of food all the time coming from the ventilation. It did have a fridge though, I think the only room in the whole place with a fridge, so ask for room 230 if you want that. The views from the balcony are nice in the sea side rooms but no shade in the morning so too hot to sit out until lunchtime. The location next to the beach is good.
Very good location, excellent staff, nice outside terrace, good breakfast and solid dinner = all in all very solid price / performance ratio.
Hotel needs to be renovated, however it is clean and offers everything you need. Parking in front of hotel is also plus.
Great location, clean, staff is nice. Rooms are ok, most have air conditioning. Building is a bit old, balconies will need restoration soon. New windows, carpeting. Food is nice but not great.
Very nice hotel with a spirit of ex Yugoslavia. Clean rooms, nice and friendly staff. If you don't need some luxury and you want to feel some old times, you will be very happy here.
